Man Ray and Nina Hollein
Wood and glitter, wheelbarrow and gown, a deep look, an empty space. As if you would compose many layers of transparent fabric on top of each other, the image oscillates. Parts and colors eventually shine through: Beauty, complexity, desire, a story. I love how it leaves us with no certainty. Like the artist himself, it can never be captured without being flexible and playful and starting over and over again. This attitude, for me, is exactly what fashion is about– and we' will need a lot of it for the time to come.
