Although known worldwide for his silkscreen prints and celebrity portraits, Andy Warhol made drawing an essential creative tool throughout his career. Featuring nearly 150 drawings alongside paintings, silkscreens, photographs, and archival materials, the exhibition invites visitors to rediscover his work from a fresh perspective. From his early advertising illustrations to the preparatory drawings for his most famous works, the exhibition reveals an artist in a constant state of experimentation.

Organized into five thematic sections, the exhibition explores, in particular, his relationship to portraiture, writing, identity, death, and the invention of new creative processes. Bringing together rarely exhibited works and archival documents from The Factory, this exhibition offers a unique insight into how Warhol constructed his images, balancing freehand drawing with mechanical reproduction.
