Few exhibitions have been dedicated to Soulages’ paintings on paper, making the one at the Musée du Luxembourg particularly anticipated, especially by the artist’s widow, Colette Soulages. In this talk, the curator discusses the distinctive features of this rich aspect of Soulages’ work and the challenges involved in exhibiting it.
