Man Ray was MANY, there are so many aspects  to him and his diverse multidimensional work its almost like the many  dimensions in   Superstring theory   which is an attempt to explain all of the particles and  natural forces of nature in one theory by modeling them as vibrations of very small supersymmetric strings.
