With Anne Dopffer, general Curator of Heritage, director of the National Museums of the 20th Century, Alpes-Maritimes, Julie Guttierez, head curator at the Fernand Léger National Museum, Biot and Rébecca François, heritage conservation officer, Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain de Nice (MAMAC).

The three curators reveal the genesis of the exhibition. Born of the encounter between works from two major collections on the Côte d'Azur, the Fernand Léger museum in Biot and the MAMAC in Nice, this exhibition shows the multiple links between the visionary scope of Fernand Léger's work and the innovative approach of the artists of the generation that succeeded him, foremost among them the New Realists.
